If i finally get an offer ill take that as first choice. if not i will go to imperial college

Decisions about the application

Its the best – well no but it has ponce value 😉

Cambridge is better

I had never heard of it before and it looked nice. Turned out to be v popular

Preparation

yes

practice interview

The Forms: dont mess them up

The interview(s): do the most you can and when it comes down to it there isnt much that anyone can say that will help you do better than you can possibly do

Interview

no

no

yes

yes, a TSA test – you will hear about this if you apply there is a practise test to download from the website. the real test is harder – i found

i got asked lots of maths and physics questions

a suit, didnt feel i had to but id brought the damn thing so i was gonna wear it

Impressions

nice but very popular

very nice rooms

Good

not the best food ever but functional

nice people

nice enough, most were “normal” there were a couple of strange compsci ppl shuffling about

Final stage

well i got pooled so the letter was more than slighly vague about what happens next.

Looking back

stupid question. yes of course, im sure id cope with the course and to go there would be the best course i could get onto

do a practise interview. get a maths teacher to give you an interview and do geometry and other more physical questions. practice the TSA test. go along and do ur best.
