Decisions about the application

To have an experience of the interview!
Just a challenge

Had NO idea. Some criterias:
1. i preferred traditional college
2. Intake of enginering per year
3. sporting facilities

Traditional
24 intake in 2002 for engineering
Good sporting factilies (a large field)

Preparation

yes

yes, extra tuiton on current affairs (which was of no use through out my entire application) Mock interview

The forms: be yourself, dig your guts out; write a story about yourself; forget about listng your achievements, and extra cirriculars (it’s the process that counts anyways)

Interview

no

no

no

Subject specific, VERY academic. NO general questions. Horrific, the questions were of none that i prepared for.
They really turned up the heat.

I wish I had to take some exams, it allows you to show off yourself.

Suite, formal

Final stage

I was pooled first then rejected.

At the moment i was pooled, i took it as a’rejection’, as late news is bad news. I just went on to assess what other unis i would go to

Looking back

Yes, of course. i’ts worth the challenge

Dont’ panic in interviews, interviewers want to see how you reat to challenges. yet, it’s all about aptitude
