Decisions about the application
because i thought i could get in although it was against the advice of my teachers.
oxford seemed nicer, bigger town, more going on. The main reason was the fact that i can change to engineering, economics and management after a year which is what i was going to originally apply for
I enjoy maths and physics
looked around it, was nice has its own sports ground in site, grandad was a fellow there.
they offered extra physics lessons and interview practice but i didn;t o to many of them
yeh they dont really care about non academic stuff very much so dont worry about that. what i did was past BMO and AEA physics papers a few days before with my dad, one of my interview questions was exactly the same as one from the BMO which i didn’t know but nailed it in the interview
first one wasn’t that great as i messed up integrating something quite easy. second one went better although the question was entirely verbal then had to do it on a whiteboard which i found quite difficult.
first interview, on on capacitors drawing graphs of current voltage charge against time etc.
second interview, on was find the sp
cream golf trousers and light blue jumper
Didn’t really do much, my mum hugged me for the first time in over 3 years which was weird. I wasn’t overly bothered really at that stage i wasn’t sure i would go if accepted as it seemed a bit geeky
yeh i think so
dont worry so much about the non academic side, half of my school are prefects or mentors and i was refused both due to behavioural issues but was still one of the 5 people who got in
