Decisions about the application
Oxford is closer, larger city, got the feeling the Maths students would be more like me, thought my chances may be a bit better too.
No choice really, it’s what like and am best at.
Open day seemed really friendly, right in the centre too.
Extra Maths once a week for a term.
Enjoyable, just the usual prompting/silly mistakes.
Some questions around sketching and integrating sin(1/x), and in another a first order differential exquation which I can’t remember.
Normal college stuff.
Really nice, friendly and most of them normal which was good.
Not too bad, was worse waiting for Interview notification, just kept in mind I had a 1/3 or 1/4 chance by then, so don’t get too hopeful.
A bit hollow, happy I got an offer, but alot of friends from college + interviews didn’t which sucked.
