Also got offer from Imperial. It’s a shame that I could not accept both offers
Decisions about the application
Cambridge is always considered as a top institution in the world and the courses are very research-oriented.
I’ve been to both towns and is more attracted to Cambridge than to Oxford.
Because I always wanted to study medicine since i was small
Caius has the largest intake of medics each year and it is the best medical college at Cambridge
I had 2 mock interviews with the teachers
I would say reading around the subject is very important as they might ask you anything about medicine. Or they may simply ask you to talk about anything about medicine that you are interested.
BMAT (6.2, 7.6, 9.0)
I think BMAT is a very important indicator for the interviewers, that’s why having a good mark is very benefical. I personally think that the 2nd part (science) is the most important section because Cambridge is such an academic university. BMAT is preparable so exercises and mocks are very useful
They were really relaxed and enjoyable. The interviewers were very friendly. The interviews are just like an informal discussion
All the interviews were based on my personal statement so knowing your personal statement is very important
I believe the questions varies every year so again KNOW YOUR PERSONAL STATMENT WELL AND READ AROUND THE SUBJECT
Jacket, but I believe the interviews aren’t that interested in what you wear, but what knowledge you have.
Everyone is so friendly and at the same time, knowledgable.
Well the accommodations werent that great and the building isn’t that apparent when compared to other colleges like kings’
The amount of food is large, however the quality aren’t that great
Very knowledgable and intellegent, at the same time very friendly and approachable. I would certainly enjoy being taught by them.
Similarly, the students are very socialable and also very clever
Quite nervous actually, because I really want to study at such academic university.
I received a phone call from my school when I was having my Christmas holiday back in HK. I screamed in the middle of the street.
Of course I would
It’s always worth trying to apply for Cambridge as you would definitely learn a lot even in these interviews and you might even be the students who the interviewers are looking for
