Details about the offer

 offer met

Decisions about the application

I liked the course and I reckoned it was worth applying after I got my AS grades

I wanted to do PPE, also my best friend applied to Cambridge and we didn’t want to go to the same place

It was really pretty and a central-ish location, plus I liked the fact it was one of the smaller ones

One practise interview that was USELESS, so not really

Don’t spell anything wrong

Yep, I gave in one History and one Economics essay

One exam with all three strands- really difficult but you couldn’t prepare for it

I had 3 seperate interviews for each of the strands, in Politics and Philosophy I was given written material 20 minutes in advance

Economics was hard- they asked me to draw a graph on the spot and Philosophy was just a series of logic/maths problems

Denim skirt, t-shirt and jumper, I was definately the scruffiest one there

Oriel was lovely, the typical Oxford college

My room was a fairsize and warm, you can’t ask for much more really

Edible but not great

Best things were the all you could eat toast breakfasts, but the food was a bit weird

They were nice, I knocked over a chair in my Economics interview and he was cool about it. The Philosophy tutour got a bit exasberated with me though I think

They seemed OK, but I don’t think they wanted to talk to us alot really

Final stage

I was pleased but my Mum went mental and cooked myfavourite dinner

Looking back

Yeah, but I got an offer so I would say that

Make sure you know about basic economics and math principles, I struggled without maths AS but just scraped it.

Do alot of maths.
