Decisions about the application

Well known, easy employment after graduation, and to show off!

Oxford did PPE Cambridge didn’t apparently it is more valued be emoployers than SPS. That’s why I chose it.

Averaged in the top ten of the norrington table for many years. Architecture was superb.

Preparation

yes

A mock interview.

Not really.

Interview

no

no

A simple logic test. No beforehand knowledge required, quite simple really.

yes

Logic Test.

Had 2 interviews both very scary. In the first interview I was asked about my personal statement why I wanted to go to St. Johns etc. Second interview asked my subject.

What is sovreignty? My thoughts on Kant and Voltaire and other questions around my subject. Afew on economics of cause.

A smart suit was demanded by my parents so I their advice though it was uncomfortable.

Impressions

Everyone seemed friendly and intelligent.

Not seen. Only in pictures, seems good.

Edible but not great.

Aggressive demanding by their look however they talked with the upmost respect and friendliness.

Seemed clever but not arrogant.

Final stage

I was overjoyed!!

Looking back

Yes! I wanted to be apart of the elite.

Simulate in your mind what you think they will ask and think of an anwser . I did that on the train there and it helped.
